What can I practice?
24 original reading scenes in six courses: cafés, hotels, shopping, sightseeing, signs and dining. Read a Japanese notice and choose one of three answers. All notices are fictional examples, not live travel information.
Do I need to read Japanese already?
The notices stay in Japanese. Questions and explanations can be shown in English or Japanese, and each scene offers an optional hint and English translation. This app practices reading in travel situations; it is not a full beginner Japanese course.
How do I change the language?
Open Language & settings from the home screen and choose English or 日本語. This also selects the language of the support and privacy links.
How do stars and review work?
Earn three stars by answering correctly on the first try without help, two after using a hint or translation, and one after a wrong answer. Your personal best never decreases. Missed scenes join your review list. Answer them correctly in review on the first try without help to clear them.
What is the mixed challenge?
The challenge randomly selects two scenes from each course: 12 in total. Hints and translations are available. Completed challenges add to your completion count, all-time best and the last 10 results in Your progress. Individual practice is also available from Your progress.
Can I continue later?
Yes. Close the practice screen and choose Continue on the home screen. Your device saves the question order, answers and help used. Starting another course, challenge or individual scene replaces the current unfinished session. Completed best scores and results remain saved.
Does it work offline? Are there extra charges?
Practice works offline. Opening this website or sending email needs an internet connection. There are no ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Check the App Store for the app price in your region.
How can I delete or move my records?
Language & settings → Reset practice records deletes stars, the review list, challenge results and the unfinished session after confirmation. The selected language is retained. Deleting the app removes local data; offloading may retain it, and an iOS backup may restore it. There is no in-app export or automatic sync between devices.
